Hot Tub Time!

In the morning, under the stars, a quick dip before work, a long soak on the weekend, you name it, there’s no bad time for a visit to a hot tub.

With fall temperatures, if you haven’t already, it’s prime time to fire up the hot tub for frequent use. At Creative Environments, we want you to make the most of the season. That’s why we’ve compiled tips for maximizing hot tub time for fall and winter seasons:

  1. Invest in a Quality Cover
Buying a tight-fitting cover can keep your hot tub well-insulated to maintain a constant high temperature.
  2. Monitor Water Level
Checking your water level frequently is important to good habits. Since hot tubs lose water due to evaporation, you’ll want to top off your tub often.
  3. Water Hygiene
Just like pool ownership, you’ll need to clean and maintain proper water chemistry.
Before the season gets underway, we like to do a complete water change for a thorough clean.
  4. Be Smart
Regardless of the season, it’s important to stay hydrated when you soak. Alcoholic beverages can exacerbate dehydration so if you are spending the evening unwinding, be sure to drink water.
  5. Soak Times
To make the most of your hot tub, we recommend soaking for approximately 20 minutes at a time. Taking frequent breaks to enjoy the air and regulate your body temperature is the best way to enjoy the benefits of soaking in a hot tub.
